LOL, the sequence of these comments is quite funny :) At once, it looks like "Hope you had a nice time" was made in relation to the first statement. Perhaps it was...
ReplyDeleteHowever, I saw it the other way. The guy made a joke with the first statement, which was funny. But then, without any connection to the joke made, he just wished Animesh a happy new year, and hoped he had a nice time. If he had written happy new year first and then said "Hope you had a nice time", then his comment won't sound so offensive any more. Get it?
Btw, I am not defending the comment, since I really don't know what was commenter's intention. Take it easy people, happy new year.
