I love the steel plate below it. :-) I was the only one I knew in my grad school who had steel vessels. Everyone else went in for microwavable cutlery. I had some of those too, but I need my thatte oota every once in a while. I might be merely glorifying nostalgia, but to me, coffee doesn't feel like kaapi when it's sipped out of a mug. :-)

@Roopa: haha. Indeed. Dinner does not feel like dinner until eaten from that plate. I got it from home this Jan :).
