Did someone ask for a Doctor?

'coz if you did -- I am at your service :).

Yup, I have passed my defense. There is still a whole bunch of text to be written in the Introduction and Related Work sections, but the huge hurdle has been crossed. The committee members were inquisitive, insightful, and kind :). Thanks professors!

A big thanks to all those who sent in their wishes, and to those who showed up to help :-).

I guess I will make this one short, like the one written just after my previous achievement. Details to follow. Stay tuned.

  3. Congrats Dr. A .... but you better patent that nickname... 'coz 5 years later someone might claim it :P
Or not. He'll prefer to use Dr. D

    Enjoy the day !!!

  4. Dr. A sounds a bit Dr. Who-ish ... more so since both are "doctors" of the "useless" kind. :D

Congratulations, Animesh! (Or would you really prefer being called "Dr. A" or just "A" now?) :) Best of luck in France.

  14. Congratulations doctor!

I guess I'll remember your post when there was a flight announcement asking for a doctor and you weren't still done with ur defense. Now, you can say with pride ( not confidence though ;)

All the best dude in life ahead!

  15. Thanks for your wishes [and the support over all the years] folks!

@Abi: I've posted a post-phd FAQ on my blog. Hope it answers some questions. And of course, I will keep blogging in my post-PhD life too -- taking a cue from my ITBHU seniors [hint hint] :).

@harshit: Thanks for reminding me of this post. Good times :D.

    cheers,
    - Dr. A
